Hobson, Rodney E., 57, of Charles City, passed on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
He was a machinist for over 30 years and loved all of his animals, the Miami Dolphins and collecting knives.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 40 years, Darlene Hobson; 1 son, Brett Hobson; a brother, Rusty Hobson and his wife, Lisa; parents who were always there for him, Russell Jr. and Ann Hobson and a large circle of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 31 from 11 am until service time at 12 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
Flowers will be welcome or donations may be made in his name to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).
