Robert Mahone

Robert Sterling Mahone, 30, of Henrico County, passed away on December 3, 2015. Robert attended Virginia Commonwealth University and later lived in Fairfax County, working at BB&T bank. Most recently he moved to Shreveport, Louisiana with his partner, Kevin Worley. Robert enjoyed musicals, laughing with friends, painting, and visiting with his family. He is survived by his parents, John and Debbie Mahone, one sister, Jennifer Thibodeau and her husband Joe, one niece, Kyrie Thibodeau, and three nephews, Joseph, Tyler and “Tibby” (David) Thibodeau, and his partner, Kevin Worley. He also is survived by loving, extended family members in both the Knight and Mahone families. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 14, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Woody’s Funeral Home (1771 North Parham Road). An interment for family and friends will be held the following day at 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery on Nine Mile Road. After the interment, the family will visit with relatives and friends at John and Debbie Mahone’s home in Henrico County.
