She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence T. Schools and Merl M. Cash Schools; brothers, L. David Schools and Carl E. Schools.
She was a Customer Service Representative at Kroger and a Fleet Administrator for James River Cars/Fort James/Georgia Pacific.
She enjoyed reading and Nascar.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorinda F. Starke (Mike); grandchildren, Damian L. Pendleton (Rosina), Kurtis W. Friedhoff, Lara N. Starke; brothers, Ernest R. Schools (Teresa), Linwood A. Schools (Sandra); and a sister - in - law, Christina Schools.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday, September 19 at 12 pm until service time at 2pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum ave, Richmond, Virginia. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park. Reception to follow at Gethsemane Church of Christ in Mechanicsville.
