WOOD, Richard N. Sr., 95, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, November 07, 2014. Richard is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Lucy E. Wood. He is survived by his son, Richard N. Wood Jr. (Brenda); grandchildren, Michael Wood, Leslie Manning (Kevin); great grandchildren, Ashley Manning, Ryan Manning; sister in law, Kitty Maddox; and nephews, Marshall and Ned Wood. Richard served our country in WWII in the United States Army and was a retired painter from Sears and Roebuck. He also was an avid fisherman. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday November, 11, 2014 at 2pm at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd. Hanover, VA 23069.
