Ralph Clarence Harris Sr.

Ralph Clarence Harris, Sr., 98, of Henrico went home on September 19, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Layne Atkins Harris; grandson, Julian “Tony” Hughes; and daughter, Patricia Ann Harris Hughes. Mr. Harris was a member at Highland Springs Church of the Nazarene and a U.S. Army Veteran, who served in WWII. He is survived by his son, Ralph Clarence Harris, Jr.; daughters, Judith H. Thompson (Tommy) and Kathleen H. Stanley (Barry); grandchildren, Julie, Melanie, Scott, Kim, Mark, Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Heather, Ashley, Samantha, Rusty, Jessica, Hunter, Camdyn, Emmett and Ava; great-great-grandchildren, Brianna and Maddox; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S.
