Naomi G. Wilson

Naomi Golladay Wilson, 80, passed away on Sunday, July 30th, 2023, at Birmingham Green in Manassas, Virginia. Naomi was born to William Irvin Golladay and Mary Austin Fitzgerald on September 23rd, 1942, in Staunton, Virginia. She had one sister - Anne Golladay Musser.

Naomi grew up in Staunton, Virginia, and attended Dunsmore Business College and Longwood College. She graduated in 1964 and began her career as a teacher in Virginia Beach, where she met and married Hugh L Wilson in May 1965. The couple was married for 32 years and had two daughters. After leaving teaching, Naomi spent the rest of her career doing administrative and secretarial work and thoroughly enjoyed being a mother and grandmother.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and a granddaughter. She is survived by two daughters - Susan Wilson Rossbach (Chris) and Catherine Wilson, a niece - Sonja Musser Golladay Clarke (Jason), two granddaughters and three grandsons.

A graveside service will be held from 2-3pm on Thursday, August 10th, at Westhampton Memorial & Cremation Park located at 10000 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, Virginia, 23238. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
