SULLIVAN, Michael Wayne “Silky”, 58, of Charles City, went to be with Our Lord May 10, 2016. He was a Crane Operator at W.O. Grubb for 30 years, and a part of Operating Engineers Local 147 for 35 years. He loved to fish, ride his motorcycle, and to spend time with his friends and family. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Burton Sullivan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, MaryAnn Sullivan; children, Shannon McLaughlin (Joey) and Chris Sullivan; grandchildren, Aiden and Elliot McLaughlin; father, Frank Sullivan; siblings, Vicki Doustout (Kenneth) and Kimberly Beers (Keith); and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Services will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 2 pm.
