Michael Shawn “Mac” McManus passed away at age 51 on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Henrico Doctor’s Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Mac was born on May 16, 1960 in Pennsylvania. He was an ironworker and blacksmith. His laugh was extremely contagious and he always had the best stories of the past. Mac was a wonderful man who had a huge heart. He could fix anything and was a talent in the kitchen. Mac loved to ride motorcycles and passed that passion down to his daughter. He loved southern rock and country music and was always jamming to something that got you moving. He never sweat the small things and always kept on keeping on. He leaves behind a daughter, Jessica Mae McManus Blair, a son-in-law, Robert Edward Blair, and a grandson, Nicholas Robert Blair, as well as many friends and loved ones. Mac will be greatly missed. There will be no funeral services in respect of his wishes. Condolences can be sent to the family by an entry in the guest book below.
