Marsha Lynn Moore, 69, of Center Cross, passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. She is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, James “Hunter” Moore; son, Stephen Germain; grandson, Dylan Germain; stepson, Jamie Moore (Jennifer); stepdaughter, Christine White (Bill); brother, Walter “Mac” McCormick (Doris); sister, Leslie McCormick (Charles Gregory); niece, Rachael Ruiz (David); nephew, Morgan McCormick (Ginny); special friends, Lauma Hill and Melissa Cary; and special cousins and “partners in crime”, Patty and Gary Wells and Kim and Rod Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pat McCormick. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 2, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 3. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of floral arrangements, donations may be made to the animal rescue foundation of your choice or the American Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey Relief.
