Margie Belle Rigney

Margie Belle Fulks Padgett Rigney, age 77, of Richmond VA passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. She is survived by her son Joel Padgett, her son-in-law Hong Le, her chosen daughter Wendy Arrowood, and her cat Precious. Margie was born to the late Helen Dempsey and Chester Fulks in Bassett VA in 1945 and also lived in Rocky Mount VA and the Galax VA area before arriving in Richmond. Margie loved to laugh, cook, dress up her cats, and tell you about her sons. Her lively presence will be missed at her last home in Imperial Plaza as well as among all her friends and family. The family requests that donations be made to local animal charities in place of flowers. Margie's viewing will be Friday February 17th between 6 PM and 8 PM at Woody Funeral Home on Parham Rd in Richmond VA. A memorial service will be held Saturday February 18th between 11 AM and 1 PM at Victory Baptist church on Clover Lane in Richmond VA.
