Margaret Claire Gillespie

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Henry Gillespie, Sr. and her parents, Benjamin and Grace Rosenthal.

She is survived by her children, Louis Gillespie, Jr. (Pamela), Margaret Gillespie (Mark), Michael Gillespie, Sr., James Gillespie (Julia), William Gillespie (Brenda), Patrick Gillespie, Anne Hudson (Morty) and two bonus children, grandson, Michael John Gillespie, Jr. and niece, Donna Marie Adams; brother, Thomas Rosenthal of Boston, MA; grandchildren, April Harris, Jaimie Gillespie, Richard Sibley, Jr., Andrew Patterson, Richard Cutright, Cheyenne Gillespie, Matthew Gillespie, Brandon Gillespie, Malinda Gillespie, Emily Gillespie, Jacob Hudson and Sarah Hudson; and great-grandchildren, Alexander Patterson, Olivia Anne Spruill-Hudson, Mallory Harris, Claire Harris, Jude Harris and Lucas Harris.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
