Margaret Dodson George

George Margaret D. (Dobbie) of Richmond VA entered into eternal peace on Thursday May 1, 2014. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jack of 55 years; a daughter, Jacquelyn G. Patterson who loved her more than life itself; 2 Grandchildren, Ryan and Amanda Patterson; brother and Sister-in-law, Richard and Robinette George and a host of nieces and nephews. Born April 23, 1934 in Washington DC, Dobbie as she was known was raised on a cattle farm in Lexington, VA. She was an avid animal lover, her first love being horses. She was a passionate worker and retired from WTVR Channel 6 in December of 2012 after 40 years of devoted service. Many thanks and blessings to Henrico Doctors Hospital and the Hospice Care Unit at Retreat Hospital in Richmond. A Memorial Service will be held at Second Baptist Church, 9614 River Road, Henrico, VA 23229 on Friday May 16th at 4:00 PM.
