Lois Gertrude Sprouse

SPROUSE, Lois G., 85, of Henrico, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carrington E. Sprouse; children, Tina Marsh, Infant Timothy; granddaughters, Pam, Joy; and grandson, Paul. Lois is survived by her daughters, Priscilla Moore (Paul), Cindy Marshall (Marvin), Nancy Maxey; son, Don Sprouse (Sharon), brother, Noel Sears (Barbara); 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. Lois enjoyed reading, puzzles, teaching Sunday school, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed the Ladies Bible Class at Hardy Central Baptist Church where she was a longtime member. The family sends a very special thank you to Bon Secour Hope Hospice for their love and care; and to nurse Robert and assistant caregiver Paul. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11 am at Hardy Central Baptist Church, 4655 Darbytown Rd. Henrico, VA 23231. Interment in Signal Hill Cemetery.
