Lewis “Jack” R. Funai, Jr., 62, of Providence Forge, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 19, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis R. Funai, Sr.
Jack was a retired automotive mechanic who enjoyed racing cars, turkey shoots, and fishing. He never met a stranger and loved to talk to people.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Audrey Funai; sisters, Bonnie Brintley (Billy), Brenda MacDonald; nephews, Allen Lee, Jr. (Crystal), Corey MacDonald; niece, Megan MacDonald; aunt, Patricia Hooker (David); as well as several close friends.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, Va. 23150.
