She is survived by her parents, Joseph Everett Wade III and Andrea “Annie” Gordon Wade; siblings, Lily, Layla, Kaitlyn and Blake; grandparents, Arlene Gordon, Bonnie Armstrong, Angela Wade and Joseph Everett Wade, Jr.; great grandmother, Margaret Frances Gordon; uncles and aunts, Chris Gordon (Michele), Angie Self (Andy), Shannon Johnson (Jared) and Josh Wade; and many loving cousins.
Leilana, meaning "a flower that grows in Heaven", was the answer to her parent's prayers, and they waited for her birth with joyful expectation. During her twelve short days here on Earth, she enjoyed listening to soft music and being held close by her parents, siblings, and grandparents. She was loved deeply by family and friends and will be missed beyond measure.
A funeral service will be held Monday, February 19, at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 3868 Antioch Church Road, Sandston, VA 23150. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.nelsenrichmond.com.
