Khosrow Joseff "Joe" Kashinejad, 76, of Glen Allen, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sharon “Sherrie” (Lengenfelder) Kashinejad; sons, Doni Kashinejad and wife, Jennifer (Mistal), Daniel Kashinejad and fiancee, Katrina Laluna; daughter, Dara Kashinejad; grandsons, Aden and Kaleb Kashinejad; brothers, Bijan Kashinejad and wife Shila, David Peleg and wife Rena (OBM); sisters, Mahen and husband Leon Levian, Mahroch and husband Haji (OBM) Ghalander, Margrit and husband Nosrat Zar, Eliza and husband Mosa Amrami, Diana and husband Youseff Livi; and special friend, Shahla Pishdad.
Joe had a deep love for his family, especially his two grandsons, Aden and Kaleb Kashinejad. His love reached to his extended family that referred to him as Papa Joe. Religion was important and you could often find him in the back pews at Temple Beth-El. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed going to the gym, tending to his carefully manicured garden, and enjoying a glass of wine while watching judge shows.
A graveside service will be conducted at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23238, on Thursday, April 18, at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, Va. 23229.
