Kenneth G. Brown

Kenneth G. Brown, 86, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017. He was preceded in death by his four brothers; Bob, Don, Ernie, and his twin brother, Keith; and his beloved daughter, Nancy. He worked at McLean Trucking Company and served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was a hardworking, giving, and caring husband, dad, and grandfather; his family and friends meant the world to him. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ellen; daughter, Cindy (Vernon); son, Doug; younger brother, Cliff; grandchildren, Doug (Kat), Kenny, Ryan (Jen), Brandon, and Shannon; great-granddaughters, Skylar and Teaghan; and a host of loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 4-7 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Pioneer Baptist Church on Darbytown Road at 12 PM. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
