Sajonc, June V. - born May 1, 1921 in Rochester, NY. She was a member of the Civic Music Association of Opera and Chorus. She moved to Richmond, VA and worked for the IRS. Upon her retirement, she worked as a Dispatcher for the Providence Forge Volunteer Rescue Squad. After several years of service, she moved to Florida where she and her husband ran a Motel in New Smyrna Beach. She was a member of Moose Lodge 1835 and she and her husband worked as VIPS for the Port Orange Police Department for five years and later moved back to Richmond. Her three daughters, Ellen Sonner, Janet Heeks, Laurel Kelly, her five stepchildren, Kathy Tuckwiller, Karen Gough, Kristy Carter, Charles Sajonc, Keith Sajonc, and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive her. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home Reception Center, 4660 Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231.
