KELLUM, Julius Wayne Jr. "Jay," 53, of Highland Springs, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Julius Wayne Kellum Sr. Jay is survived by his mother, Alice E. Kellum; son, Ryan Kellum of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, Mark Kellum; sister, Deborah Smith (Ronnie); niece, Shannon Smith; aunts, Dee Warthan (Buddy) and Louise Kellum; and uncle, Buddy Edwards (Sandi). Jay was a member of the Shepherds Watch Ministries Church and he could say a prayer like no one else could. He was also an avid Washington Redskins fan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, 2013, from 12 to 1 p.m. with a chapel service to follow at 1 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
