Juanita Kirby Garrett

Juanita Kirby Garrett, age 90, of Henrico, Virginia passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Juanita was born October 15, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Garrett, Sr. Juanita retired from Henrico County Public Schools. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Walter Garrett, Jr. (Linda), Bruce Garrett (Kathy), and Katherine Holmes (Kevin); grandchildren, Lori, Adam, Elizabeth, and Tony; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Carroll; three sisters-in-law, Carolyn, Shirley, and Ann; and many friends, nephews, and nieces. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23231 where a service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Virginia 23150.
