Janet was a faithful member of the Scotchtown Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Montpelier, VA. Janet is survived by her husband of almost 51 years and eternal companion, Eugene Brady Toler, Jr.; her sister Gail Baum (Ricky); four children, Sean (Natalie), Christopher, Gena and Tiffany (Michael); eight grandchildren, Autumn Fox (Nathaniel), Summer Livesay (Will), Michael and Julia Perry, Preston Irby, Lainee, Brady and Logan Toler; one great-grandchild, Rose Marie Fox, and a second, Syrena Janet Elaine Livesay on the way.
Janet lived a loving and wonderful life always uplifting, caring for and serving those she loved. We couldn’t have wished for a more loving and better person to call wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Though our sorrow and grief at her passing will, over time, subside, the hole left in our hearts and souls by her passing will remain until that joyous day when we are reunited again as an eternal family.
The family will receive friends at the Parham Road Chapel of the Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd, Henrico, VA 23229 on Tuesday evening, July 25, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. There will be a funeral service, also held at the Woody Funeral Home, on Wednesday, July 26 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will take place at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave., following the funeral.
