CHASTAIN, Janet O., age 82, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Janet loved her family. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Denise Baker (Howard), Robert (Petrina) and Bill (Anne) Chastain; and her five grandchildren, Bill, Greg and Brianna Chastain, Chris and Jon Baker. Janet was born in New Albany, Ind., went to Indiana University and lived most of her life in Columbus, Ohio before moving to Richmond, Va. She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church-Short Pump, in Glen Allen, Va. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a friend to all, and will truly be missed by family and those she touched in her life. She will remain in our hearts forever. Her service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014, 2 p.m., at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229.
