SCOTT, James Pleasant, 79, passed away on October 28, 2018, at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Fla. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Rice Scott; and his mother, Helen Dickie Scott. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Jones (Treg), of St. Augustine, Fla.; grandsons, River of St. Augustine, Fla. and Connor (Peyton) of Cleveland, Ohio. James was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He proudly served in the Navy. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 23, at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229. His service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave., Henrico, Va. 23229.
