MARKS, James Elliott, 79, of Henrico, passed away April 7, 2016. He loved golf and gardening, but will be remembered most for being a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He was preceded in death by his wife of 11 years, Judy Marks; and his parents, Leroy Earl Marks and Lottie Lucado Marks. He is survived by his daughter, Renee Marks; grandchildren, Kiara and Katrina Marks, and Devin Coates; siblings, Peggy Jones (Roger), Earl Marks (Kitty), Keith Marks (Betty Howerton Marks, who preceded him in death), and Wanda Barnes (David); 9 nieces and nephews; and devoted friend, Kenny Loving. Visitation will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum at 12 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 with a service to follow in the chapel there at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park.
