He served in the U. S. Coast Guard for eight years and was an employee of Emery Worldwide as a delivery driver. He loved lake house living, metalworking, country music, reading, watching NASCAR, computers, watching the weather, drinking beer, birdwatching and sightseeing.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Laura Abbott Frazer; second wife, Shirley Eggleston Frazer; mother, Margaret Frazer; and father, James William Frazer, Jr.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, David Frazer (Carter), Ken Frazer (Kim), Tammy Frazer Rapp (Don) and Thomas Eggleston (Pat); grandchildren, Michael Frazer, Heather Sebra, Jonathan Rapp, Kameron Frazer and Katherine Frazer; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Frazer (Alice) and Thomas Frazer (Christa); and best buddy, James “Jimmy” Campbell.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 24, at 11 a.m. at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
