Bullock, James Walter (Jim), 47, died tragically on December 7, 2015 following injuries sustained in a car accident. Jim was a loving father, son, and family member. He is survived by his two children and their mother, Tanner and Jenna Bullock and Sherry Trossbach, his mother Brantley Shiflett Bullock, his father Fred Bullock (Dale), brothers Jay Gardner (Sharon), and step siblings Mark Hajacos , Chris Hajacos (Phyllis), and Michelle Miller (Steve), as well as a host of other loving family members.
Jim was a Sr. Software Engineer. He started his career early developing software for Henrico County Public Schools while in high school. He served with distinction in the United States Navy having served in the Gulf War aboard the USS Princeton of which he was a proud plank owner. Jim had a passion for classic cars, music, dancing, friends, and family. He was a devoted father, son, brother, and nephew who loved gatherings of friends and family and could always be counted on for a laugh. He absolutely adored his two children Tanner and Jenna who were the light of his life. He will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Nuckols Rd, Glen Allen on December 12th. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm with the Memorial Service held at 2:00 pm.
