Irving Wayne Talley

Irving W. Talley, 78, of Sandston passed away May 23, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling and Annie Talley; and one brother, Raymond Talley. He is survived by his wife, Mary Emerson Talley; son, Steve Talley (Gail); daughter, Robin Talley; two brothers, Russell Talley Sr, and David Talley (Bonnie); sister-in-law, Drema Talley; a host of nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Lynn, Annett, Jessica, Stephanie, Kelsey, and Ryan; great grandchildren, Haley, Christian, Parker, Emma, Lilly, and Logan and his loving and dedicated companion, Tiki. Irving proudly served in the Army National Guard, loved to play golf, watch NASCAR, and loved his Redskins. The family will receive friends Friday, May 27, 2016 from 12 noon to 3pm at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum, with burial immediately following at Gethsemane Church of Christ.
