In his younger days, he packed up the station wagon, and along with Ruby, Wendy and Joanne drove the mountains, the plains, the east and west coasts on vacations all over the United States that were the most wonderful experiences for his family they could ever wish for. There were many times when he fussed at his daughters for kicking the back of his seat, smacking bubble gum and his having to answer the penultimate question “are we there yet?” He also was highly encouraged by his daughters to stop and let them use their allowance to buy trinkets and toys form “South of the Border”.

A very special thank you to Dr. Michael Vranian and his team work with Community Hospice of Richmond, all of whom made our father’s crossing over a less painful journey for him and his daughters.
Chick was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, mentor and friend; a benefactor to many, and he never ever met a stranger. His credo was to pay it forward and he hopes that others will do likewise. He had a good ride in this life and he knew it and never took it for granted.
