Howard James Taylor III, 54, of Providence Forge/Charles City, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015. He is a former teacher in Henrico County and New Kent County and a member of New Bridge Baptist Church. He loved football, his family, and his friends. He lived for interactions with people and relationships. J.T. was a graduate of Varina High School and The University of Virginia, where he played football and also coached Disciple’s Football. He was preceded in death by George H. Davis & Mamie W. Davis, Howard James Taylor, Sr. and Ollie S. Taylor. He is survived by his fiancé Ginnevive Burgess; children Zachary & Zoe Taylor; brother, David Taylor (Jackie); parents Brenda D. and Howard James Taylor, Jr., along with aunts, uncles, one niece & one nephew. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm- 8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 12 noon. Jimmy loved all for who they were and knew that relationships and interactions were what life is all about.
