Gaynelle Brown, 92, of Henrico passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was a member of Hardy Central Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Brown; parents, Robert and Rosa Parham; children, Sharon Marr, Donnie Brown and Stevie Brown; and sister, Pauline Clarke. She is survived by a son, Jimmy Brown (Teresa); 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Dona Thompson (Skip); son-in-law, Jim Marr; daughter-in-law, Wanda Brown; a niece and four nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 20, at 12 noon at Hardy Central Baptist Church, 4655 Darbytown Rd., Henrico, VA 23231. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
