Evelyn R. Mende

Evelyn was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, She worked as a nurses aid at the Hermitage Home for many years.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years George Luther Mende, Sr.

She is survived by her son, George L. Mende, Jr. (Nancy), her daughter Betsy Griffith (Grayson). Grandchildren George L. Mende III, Tammy McCoy (Robert), Mende Garren (Josh). Great grandchildren Taylor McCoy, Theora, and Maximus Garren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6:00 -8:00pm at the Woody funeral home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Richmond, VA. The funeral service will be on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 2:00pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Monument Ave in Richmond, VA. with interment following at Forest lawn Cemetery in Richmond.
