Emily P. Hollins, 88, of Richmond, Va., formerly of Lawrenceville, Va., passed away February 2, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James Cole Hollins Jr. She is survived by her son, Stephen R. Hollins and his wife, Beverly; and a grandson, Carter D. Hollins, all of Richmond; a brother George Palmer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Emily was a long time member of Hopeful Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 6 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery, 14340 Hopeful Church Rd., Montpelier, Va., 23192, where contributions may be sent in her memory.
