Wilson, Elva A., 90, of Sandston, VA, born September 28, 1923 in Staunton, VA, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013.Elva was a member of Sandston Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wilson. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Adkins, Sharon Horsley, Delores Walton, Mary Gersema, Wanda Chinault; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday October 23, 2013 from 4:30-8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231. A graveside service will be held Thursday October 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Sandston Baptist Church, or an animal rescue organization of your choice.
