Elizabeth Duncan Whitfield

WHITFIELD, Elizabeth Duncan, 98, of Richmond, widow of Bret Meacham Whitfield, passed away February 26, 2013. She had worked for Bank of America for more than 30 years. She is survived by her sister, Mabel D. Ford and her husband, William; three nephews, Richard B. Hudson, William E. Duncan Jr. and James Duncan; three great-nieces, one great-nephew and three great-great-nieces and one great-great-nephew. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of Westhampton United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends Friday, March 1, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Hospice Community Care, 10128 W.
