Dean, Dorothy E., 90, of Henrico, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016. She was a member of Montrose Presbyterian Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Dean; sister, Myrtle Elliott; and brother, Charles R. Elliott. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Harold M. Elliott; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers and hospice nurses. The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., on Tuesday, January 12, from 4 to 7 p.m., where a service will be held the following day at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakwood cemetery.
