THORNTON, Doc departed this life September 18, 2011 as he had lived it - riding too fast and looking for trouble.
Born Aug. 17, 1969, Donald Rush Thornton Jr. was a graduate of Lansdowne High and University of Maryland. Doc lived in Richmond, where he worked as a network administrator for Thomas and Betts and played guitar for Therapeutic Homicide. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tracy Jolley of Richmond; his parents, Helen and Donald Thornton Sr.; and his brother, Keith, all of Baltimore. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September 22, at the funeral home.
