NOCERA, Dominic “Mickey”, a native of Washington, D.C., born December 19, 1921, died October 13, 2011. He was preceded in death by his son, David Nocera. Survivors include his daughter, Joyce Marko, of Richmond, Va.; son, Kenneth Nocera and his wife, Joan, of Salisbury, Md.; son, Ronald Mickey Nocera and his wife, Brenda, of Bethesda, Md.; grandchildren, Regina Nocera McCort and her husband, Raymond, of Ashburn, Va., Ronald Mickey Nocera, Jr. and his wife, Cassandra, of Ashburn, Va., Jared Marko of Richmond, Va., and Robin Nocera, of Kensington, Md.; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Nocera was a U.S. Army veteran with service during World War II.
A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Online condolences to woodyfuneralhome.com.
