Daniel Edward King

KING, Daniel Edward, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife, Margo and their six children on September 14, 2010. His legacy is passed on through his children Jennifer and Mark Stevens, Dannie Graves, Louie and Paul Weaver Jr., Daniel E. J. and Lacy King Sr., Levi and Janet King, Felicia and Benjamin Ainsa; his 23 grandchildren; and beloved pet, Bear Dog "BD." He is also survived by his brothers, Timothy, David, Stephen and Phillip King. He was preceded in death by his parents, William T. and A. Burnette King. Dan was happiest when surrounded by family. He loved to help others and was genuinely interested in their lives. He had a thirst for knowledge and taught others what he learned. He enjoyed nature, woodworking, and animals. Dan will be remembered for his generosity and quick, humorous wit. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Dan gave the sacred and precious gift of being an organ donor. A viewing will be held Friday (today) September 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Woody's Funeral Home on Parham. A viewing will also be held Saturday, September 18 at 10 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, 5600 Monument Ave., with services to follow.
