Curtis P. Stinson

Curtis Philip Stinson, 81, of Varina, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Curtis was born in Buckingham County. He was retired from Henrico County Police and an active member of the Henrico Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #4. Curtis was preceded in death by his son, Jay; parents, three brothers and two sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bonnie Sanders Stinson; daughter, Stephanie Zentner and her husband, Bucky; granddaughters, Jordan and Carter Zentner; and granddaughter, Jessica East Meadows, her husband, Jamie and her parents, Robbie and Debbie East. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, with a visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bon Secours Community Hospice House or the Henrico Lodge #4 Foundation. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful nurses at the Bon Secours Community Hospice House for their kindness and care.
