Cora Boone

She was preceded in death by her husband, Quillie Boone.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sandra B. Monroe (Steve), Andrew A. Boone; grandchildren, Michael S. Monroe, William T. Monroe, Benjamin C. Monroe, Anthony R. Monroe, Katelyn B. Atkinson, Jessica E. Boone; and six great grandchildren; all of whom will miss her dearly.

Cora was a talented woman who created beautiful quilts. She also had quite the green thumb and enjoyed tending to her garden and flowers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, Va. 23150.
