Christine Mercelena McClain

She worked as a C.N.A. with Saber Rehabilitation and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Christine enjoyed doing puzzles, word searches, knitting, and gardening. She loved to play card games and watch NCIS, Walker Texas Ranger, and Law & Order. Christine also enjoyed travelling and visiting with friends and family – she loved a good road trip. She worked hard for everything she had and valued all of it. Christine was the kindest person and was willing to help anyone in any way that she could. She would give you the shirt off of her back if you asked.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Marvin Campbell, Kimorra Gill, Chevan Lounds; six grandchildren, Brianna, Azriella, Carter, Aureilia, Aiden, Aevyn; and siblings, Shaun Gayle, Ulalee Gayle, Valerie Gayle, Dennis Gayle, Fitzroy Gayle. Christine will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church, 2014 Cartersville Road, Cartersville, Va. 23027.
