HOWE, Catherine Wilson, our thanks to God for the blessing of our mother, Catherine Wilson Howe, who went to be with her maker on July 21, 2011, after almost 96 years of joyous living. She will be remembered as a devoted teacher and youth mentor in the Hampton High School, Hampton, Va., a lifetime scholar and world traveler. She is survived by her three children, Sarah Wilson Peters, David Emmett Wilson and Walton Edwin Wilson; her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at a later date. Donations are requested to be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
