Carolyn Davis Showalter, age 90, of Henrico Virginia, passed away on Monday August 12, 2024 with her daughter by her side, she is predeceased by her husband, Roy Lee Showalter; sister, Margaret Campbell. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie S. Elliott (Mark); grandson, Andrew; Niece, Vicky Sharpley (Tom); nephew, George Davis; and may other extended family members and friends. She was a graduate of Granby High School in Norfolk Virginia and Stratford College of Danville Virginia. She retired from the Richmond Technical Center after over 30 years of service. She was a member of the "DAR" & the "DAC". Carolyn's greatest joy was being with her grandson, family, and friends, and also working in the yard.
A visitation will take place on Saturday August 17, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Parham chapel of Woody Funeral Home 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. A memorial Service will be at a later date at Christ United Methodist Church, 6818 W Grace St, Richmond, VA 23226.
