Bruce Thompson

Bruce Andrew Thompson "Hog", 59, of Henrico, passed on Friday, June 13, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife Bonnie M. Thompson of 39 years; children, Kelly Thompson Krol (her husband, Greg), Barry Thompson (Sara), granddaughter, Addison Krol and mother in law, Jean McNeely. After 31 years of service, Bruce retired as a Henrico Fire Investigator. He was known widely for his knowledge and ability as one of Henrico's first paramedics. Bruce was an Honorary Member of Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad as well as a member of Henrico's Dive Rescue Team and an operator of the Henrico Marine Patrol. We are left to cherish his memories and how much he will be forever missed.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 6:00 -8:00pm at the Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Richmond, VA.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Woody's Funeral Home with interment immediately following at Westhampton Memorial Park.
