She was employed for 35 years with Hunton and Williams law firm as a records manager and was a member of New Life Baptist Church. One of her favorite things to do was to go to the beach and spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Mildred Besecker; son, Dwayne; and brother, Gerald.
She is survived by her husband, George; son, Jason; granddaughter, Amber; great-granddaughter, Serenity; sister, Shirley Brinkman; and two nieces, Pam and Lauri.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 28, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at New Life Baptist Church, 6229 Osborne Turnpike, Richmond, VA 23231 where a service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m.
Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park.
