He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Western Electric, which eventually became Lucent Technologies. He was a member of Brookside Masonic Lodge # 720 in Greenwood, IN for almost 58 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Vincent; father, Herman Vincent; and mother, Frances Perdue.
He is survived by his son, Keith Vincent; grandson, Sebastian Vincent; and longtime companion, Deborah Spruell.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Washington Park East, Indianapolis, IN.
