Goodbye my friend...I’ll always remember our fun times at  Koger.

I was so sorry to hear about Carl’s passing.  When I worked with him at the Koger center he never failed to be helpful and just plain delightful to work with. He even came to my home,  I think with Rusty, once to repair fallen insulation under a very small scary crawl space.   They were almost attacked by a raccoon living under there. He was a blessing and true friend. My prayers to all his family. 

I am so sad that my buddy has left us.  I worked with Carl at Koger Management in Virginia for years.  He was the kindest person in the entire office.  I missed him when I moved from Virginia in 1993, but since I started working with Koger Management in Georgia I could call the Virginia office and speak to my fellow co-workers often.  My heart is broken today to learn of his passing.  Prayers for his wife, and children cause I  know they will miss him so much, miss his loving nature, and easy going attitude.  I will miss him so much, cause now I cant speak to him and tell him how much I loved working with him, and becoming friends for years.  Prayer for all of his family....

To the family. I worked for Carl as an hvac tech back in the 80s.He was always a great boss and I never saw him lose his temper even when it was 100 degrees and the phone was ringing off the hook. I learned a lot about keeping a level head from him.He was a positive influence on all of us.May God bless him and all of you.Joey Liles 

I will miss my uncle.  A very smart,  practical,  intuitive,  dedicated man.  Him and his wife and kids were always welcoming and supportive of me. He was a role model and I always looked up to him. 

Condolences to Carl's family.  Having had the great opportunity to work  with Carl and learn from him for 15 years at the Koger Center, he became my friend.  He helped so many folks over the years both professionally and personally.  You can take solace knowing he is with his wife and your mother....Penny.  Reflect over the coming years on all the memories you have of both your parents.  Best Wishes to each and everyone of you.

He was my brother-in-law ,and friend. I remember when Penny,and him were dating. The only way daddy would let them go to the Glen drive in . They would have to take the rest of us kids along. At that time there were 4 of us 😂
He was a hard working man. A great provider for his family. I remember in my late teens early twenties they took me in and let stay with them. Carl was working for Skelton Brothers Oil at that time. I would go with him on late 
night calls. I learned a lot about oil furnaces which later in life served 
me well.

Carl....what can I say.  I confess I haven't seen him or Penny in 25 years or more.  But I do recall both of them opening their home to me for a cup of coffee and a conversation.  Even though he was just getting home from working 15 hours.  He was a great man.  A man among men.  Penny, God rest her soul, was always so sweet and kind to me.   My condolences to Chip, Chad and Rusty, and the rest of their family.
