Barbara Anne Lipscomb Neely, 80, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015, in Leesburg, Va. A long-time resident of Richmond, Va., Barbara had also resided in Virginia Beach and Winchester before living in Leesburg for the last two and half years. She was married 49 years to her deceased husband Billy Ray Neely. A loving mother and grandmother, Barbara leaves three children and three grandchildren which include: B. Ray Neely Jr. of Winchester, Va.; Rodney Franklin Neely and his wife Helen Neely of Vienna, Va.; Michelle Neely Martinez and her husband Rick Martinez of Leesburg, Va; and three grandchildren in Leesburg, Dylan Michael Martinez, Tatum Neely Martinez, and Tara Anne Martinez.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 North Parham Road in Richmond, Va. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.
