HELMS, Arlene R., 87, of Henrico, widow of Roscoe J. Helms Jr., died June 12, 2013. She was a retired bookkeeper for J.A. Peyronnet and Son P&H. She is survived by her son, James (the love of her life) and his wife, Betty; grandson, Matthew (the light of her world) and his wife, Sharon; two great-grandsons, Shane and Aidan, all of Henrico; as well as two nieces and several special family friends. Arlene was an accomplished pianist, and particularly enjoyed accompanying soloists and choirs. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and closest friends. The memories of those joyful gatherings will be cherished.
