Stitzer, Ann W., died peacefully on December 26, 2014 at the age of 87. She was Director of Physical Therapy at Richmond Memorial, then Sheltering Arms and retired after 25 years of service. Once retired, she served on the Board of Directors at Sheltering Arms. Mrs. Stitzer was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Charles Stitzer Jr. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Lynn Bryant, Charles R. Stitzer III, Jane Roos, and Leigh Stitzer. Ann had eight grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29th from 6-8 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4560 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond VA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 30th at 11:00 am at Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel.
